Why aluminium and steel

A powder coated aluminium or steel fence adds an instant ‘wow’ factor to its environment. The clean stylish look is timeless and adds not only safety but street statement and curb appeal to your property.

Aluminium

• Cost. While timber is a more cost-efficient item, aluminium is an investment at the start and less over its life.
• Maintenance. Aluminium is a product that doesn’t twist, warp or move under natural environmental conditions. Easy to maintain with a quick wash.
• Privacy. Both can be built solid. Slats give you the option of near privacy with airflow, which matters on an exposed Canterbury site.
• Look. Timber warms a section. Aluminium sharpens it. Plenty of jobs we do use both - timber on the boundary, aluminium across the front.

Steel

• Cost. Steel is known for its rugged ability to provide a solution at a sharper rate than aluminium.
• Maintenance. All our steel products are made from Duragal based material. This is a coating already on the product, meaning you can either leave it as is or paint it with an etch primer.
• Privacy. Both can be built solid. Slats give you the option of near privacy with airflow, which matters on an exposed Canterbury site.

Powder coating and colour

The predominant colours in the market are Black or Thunder Grey, however we can facilitate any custom request to match your requirements at no extra hassle.
